Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Scientist) for a contract assignment in Salmon, ID. The ideal candidate will perform complex laboratory testing to support the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions while ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable test results across multiple laboratory disciplines. Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, immunology, and transfusion services. Review and verify test results, including critical values, and report findings accurately. Perform quality control (QC), proficiency testing, and maintain compliance with CLIA standards. Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory analyzers. Verify specimen collection, handling, and processing. Communicate critical laboratory results to providers and clinical staff. Maintain accurate documentation and follow laboratory safety protocols. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency laboratory services. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. National certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) . Must meet
CLIA '88
requirements. Current BLS Certification . Previous clinical laboratory experience required. Experience with laboratory analyzers and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay:
