NEX/12 Target hiring range for this position will be between be range is as be $25.00-$27.65 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Job Summary:
This position performs clinical lab procedures in support of the NMH and LCH transplant centers. Follows appropriate protocols, policies, procedures, regulations, Good Clinical & Good Laboratory Practices. The position requires use of a specialized database and other computer programs.
Please note:
The position will require some on-call and overtime. Employee will require access to NM/Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lurie Children's Hospital. Employee affiliation to NM requires yearly influenza vaccination documentation submission or proof of accommodation/ religious/medical exemption.
Specific Responsibilities :
Technical Follows pre-defined protocols, policies, procedures, regulations using Good Clinical & Good Laboratory Practices. May complete basic trouble-shooting techniques. Enters clinical samples into multiple patient databases following established detailed protocols using multiple software programs. Processes and labels clinical blood samples. Performs procedures in support of clinical histocompatibility testing. Maintains and ensures quality of laboratory instrumentation and reagents. Manages clinical lab data and generate reports.
