A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description
Job Summary:
The PRN ( on-call/at need) MLS perform s patient specimen analysis and phlebotomy for diagnostic purposes. Under the supervision of a medical technologist, performs procedures in: hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, immunology, molecular diagnostics and blood bank. Enters results into and reviews interfaced results in the computer system and notifies medical technologist and health care provider of panic values. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment and appropriate utilization of lab supplies. Follows laboratory policies and procedures.
