Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your clinical career by delivering high-quality laboratory services as a skilled professional in a vital facility. This contract opportunity is a perfect fit for those with expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, ready to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Schedule:
4x10-hour night shifts (specific hours will be discussed during the interview) No holiday coverage required
Qualifications:
Current ASCP certification is required At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience Strong background in aspects of clinical laboratory testing and operations Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities:
Perform, analyze, and validate a broad range of clinical laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring functionality and compliance with quality standards Prepare specimens, monitor test processes, and report findings to medical staff Adhere to established safety protocols, regulatory practices, and laboratory policies Troubleshoot instrument or procedural issues to ensure continuity of laboratory operations Maintain quality control procedures and participate in proficiency testing as required
