Job Description
We are seeking an
- Immunogenetics Technologist Trainee
- who works under the direct supervision of a laboratory manager and/or bench supervisor. The trainee will develop skills in one or more areas in the laboratory and receive the necessary training to advance to a technologist role.
- Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- + Develop laboratory skills in the following areas: lymphocyte isolation and purification, Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) molecular typing, DNA technologies including rSSO, RT-PCR, NGS, and TGS, flow cytometry crossmatch, Luminex-based assays, deceased donor on-call training.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science, medical technology, or related field. + Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Related post-undergraduate work experience.
