Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your laboratory career by taking on a vital role supporting clinical diagnostics and patient care. This contract opportunity is suited for professionals with expertise in medical laboratory testing and hands-on experience operating Beckman Coulter equipment, particularly those familiar with the AU system.
Schedule:
Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00
PM Qualifications:
Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science 2-3 years of prior experience functioning as a Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Technician, or in a comparable laboratory capacity Hands-on experience working with Beckman Coulter instrumentation, with preference for direct AU system experience Solid understanding of laboratory operations, safety protocols, and clinical testing standards Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precise, timely results Effective communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with team members and healthcare staff
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of laboratory tests following established protocols to support diagnoses and monitor treatments Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, with a focus on Beckman Coulter analyzers Record and report results accurately, ensuring appropriate documentation and confidentiality Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and collaborate with technical support as needed Adhere to stringent quality control, safety, and compliance guidelines Support continuous improvement through process evaluation and constructive feedback
