Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for skilled laboratory professionals passionate about clinical diagnostics and quality patient care. Working a contract position on the afternoon shift (2:30pm-11:00pm), you'll join a dynamic lab environment, utilizing your expertise to perform a wide variety of laboratory tests critical to effective patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Qualifications:
Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, or in a similar laboratory role Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation; hands-on experience with Beckman Coulter equipment strongly preferred, especially the AU systems Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and communicate effectively Professional certification or license as required by state or federal regulations is an asset
Schedule:
Afternoon shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm

Perform complex clinical laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with laboratory protocols Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Beckman Coulter analyzers and related laboratory equipment Prepare biological specimens for analysis and ensure proper documentation and data entry Interpret and report laboratory results to support clinical decision-making Uphold strict quality assurance and safety standards You'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced laboratory utilizing cutting-edge technology and supporting exceptional patient outcomes.
