Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced laboratory professional to support vital diagnostic operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates proficient in medical laboratory testing and instrumentation, aiming to drive quality outcomes for patient care.
Schedule:
Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00
PM Qualifications:
Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist Strong background working with Beckman Coulter equipment; prior hands-on experience with the AU system is preferred Working knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory standards Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to accuracy Ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative team setting
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols and quality standards Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, specifically Beckman Coulter analyzers (AU system experience highly valued) Interpret and record test results accurately, ensuring timely reporting to healthcare providers Adhere to strict laboratory safety and infection control standards Collaborate with fellow laboratory professionals and healthcare staff to support optimal patient outcomes Participate in ongoing quality improvement efforts and continuing education initiatives This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care while expanding your skills in an innovative laboratory setting.
