Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Take your laboratory skills to the next level in a dynamic healthcare environment! We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to fill a Generalist role. This contract opportunity centers on providing exceptional diagnostic support, helping ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Schedule and Duration:
Night shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10s) 26-week assignment
Essential Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Demonstrated experience as a laboratory generalist Proficiency with clinical laboratory testing and instrumentation Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously during night shifts Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology Analyze, interpret, and report accurate laboratory results to assist in clinical decision-making Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring all instruments are functioning optimally Follow established procedures for specimen collection, processing, and labeling Monitor quality control measures and document findings according to laboratory standards Adhere to all safety and infection control regulations Effectively communicate findings with healthcare providers as needed This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise in a supportive laboratory setting.
