  • $42.10 per hour 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM Direct Hire Opportunity Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory analysis on received specimens according to established procedures and quality standards
  • Demonstrate proficiency in testing procedures and maintain compliance with quality assurance guidelines
  • Document corrective actions for non-conforming events and equipment issues
  • Prepare reagents and maintain adequate supplies for laboratory testing procedures
  • Monitor and manage inventory to reduce departmental waste and expenses
  • Exercise sound clinical judgment when prioritizing workload and troubleshooting testing systems
  • Communicate with technical support specialists and coordinate service calls when necessary
  • Assist with review and revision of laboratory procedures and accreditation documentation
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including CAP, TJC, OSHA, and other applicable agencies
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and team members regarding operational or patient care concerns
  • Participate in staff meetings, projects, task forces, and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in competency assessment programs based on qualifications Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree required
  • MLT registry eligible or equivalent required
  • MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent required within one year of hire
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory setting
  • Exposure to biohazardous/infectious materials, chemicals, fire, and mechanical hazards
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, and stooping
  • Ability to lift light to moderately heavy loads (20-50 lbs) Benefits
