Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is open for a skilled professional with experience as a Medical Technologist for a full-time contract assignment in North Carolina. Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts with weekend rotation 13-week contract duration
Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Registered US Tech status required Experience operating GE laboratory equipment preferred Generalist background strongly desired Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen analysis Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical laboratory
Responsibilities:
Perform analysis of clinical specimens, ensuring timely and accurate results Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, particularly GE platforms Maintain detailed documentation and quality controls in accordance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and care planning Participate in night and weekend shifts as scheduled, contributing to essential round-the-clock laboratory operations
