Qualifications:
Current ASCP or AMT certification (required) Minimum of an associate's or bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field Experience as a Medical Technologist generalist, with proficiency in phlebotomy Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Adaptability to new environments and teamwork-focused mentality
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests with a high level of precision and accuracy Conduct and analyze laboratory assays across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank Collect, process, and prepare specimens, including phlebotomy duties QC/QA on instrumentation and processes; troubleshoot equipment as needed Maintain comprehensive and accurate lab records, submitting reports to physicians and care teams Uphold laboratory safety, compliance, and infection control standards
