Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting short-term assignment as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, and put your expertise to work in a dynamic laboratory environment. This position is designed for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy contributing to patient care through precise laboratory analysis.
Schedule:
13-week contracted assignment Evening shift: Five 8-hour shifts per week Guaranteed 40 hours weekly Flexible working hours
Qualifications:
Experienced Generalist in a clinical laboratory Valid New York State License is required ASCP or AMT certification preferred Up-to-date
COVID-19
vaccination is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of automated and manual laboratory tests in compliance with standard operating procedures Accurately analyze and report lab results to support clinical diagnosis and treatment Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory instrumentation Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care Adhere to all quality control, safety, and regulatory standards
