Location:

Tech Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Radiology Technologist to join a team in Syracuse, NY. This full-time position is based in an outpatient imaging environment, with responsibilities in general radiography, DEXA scans, and OR-based C-arm imaging. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to ensure accurate imaging and a positive patient experience. Join a dynamic radiology team providing high-quality imaging care in a supportive outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret and execute physician imaging orders Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Operate radiologic equipment including C-arms, DEXA, and general radiography units Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure Maintain sterility in OR procedures and assist surgical teams with intraoperative imaging Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic clarity Utilize PACS, RIS, and EMS systems for workflow and documentation Perform regular equipment QA checks and coordinate maintenance as needed Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized work area Collaborate effectively with fellow radiology staff and cross-functional teams Stay compliant with
SUNY, NYS
DOH, and DNV guidelines and protocols
Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Medical Radiography Current ARRT certification and NYS Radiologic Technologist licensure BLS certification through the
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic technology Prior outpatient or surgical radiography experience
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed Location Highlight -
