Key Responsibilities:
Receives, verifies, and processes specimens accurately and efficiently to meet turnaround standards. Confirms proper labeling and acceptability of specimens; resolves discrepancies as needed. Performs and documents testing and blood component processing per protocols. Selects and issues appropriate blood components; maintains accurate TSIS documentation. Ensures adequate inventory of blood components and uses resources effectively. Identifies abnormal results, repeats tests when necessary, and reports accurate findings. Maintains a clean, organized workspace and follows safety protocols. Assists team members during high-volume periods; works independently and efficiently. Reviews logs for pending specimens to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Requirements:
Experience Degree in Medical Technology or related study AMT or ASCP certified Bonus points for: High complexity testing experience Why work here?
