A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Schedule:
FT Evenings - 3pm-11:30pm, every 3rd weekend + 2/3 holidays a year. Sign on Bonus of up to $5,000!!!
Summary:
Performs routine and special diagnostic test procedures, as well as supporting Quality Control and documentation, function verification, instrument maintenance, associated specimen collection, and clerical work as required.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma GED. Completion of a medical lab science program or medical lab technician. MT, MLT or issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists equivalent or eligible to take such exam. May have Laboratory area specific certification. One 1 year of clinical internship or Laboratory experience.
Credentials:
MLT MT, MLT or issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists equivalent or eligible to take such exam. May have ASCP or equivalent Laboratory area specific certification required.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
Associates (Required) Bachelor or Associate of Science in MLT required. H.S. Diploma/GED (Required) One (1) year of clinical internship or Laboratory experience required.
