Assignment Length:
10 weeks
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
ASCP or AMT certification required Minimum experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (MT/MLT) Generalist proficiency, with strong chemistry—Roche Cobas Pro/Pure—and blood bank experience Skilled in phlebotomy (required) Robust LIS experience (Cerner preferred) Comfortable working as the primary technologist alongside a lab assistant overnight Demonstrated ability to thrive independently in high-responsibility environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of laboratory testing procedures as a generalist Maintain accurate documentation and quality control measures Oversee and mentor the lab assistant during overnight shifts Ensure proper handling of specimens for chemistry and blood bank applications Engage in phlebotomy and specimen processing as required
