Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive laboratory experience, including proficiency in laboratory procedures, specimen processing, and data management. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to accurate diagnostics and patient care through precise laboratory testing and analysis. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of laboratory tests including clinical chemistry immunoassays with accuracy and efficiency. Conduct specimen collection and processing, including venipuncture, blood sampling, and handling of biological samples in accordance with aseptic techniques. Operate and maintain medical laboratory equipment. Implement laboratory quality control protocols to ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and maintain high standards of test accuracy. Manage laboratory data using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and analyze results for clinical interpretation. Support laboratory management tasks such as inventory control, equipment calibration, and adherence to safety protocols. Medical assisting duties such as blood pressure and vital signs and phlebotomy. Requirements Proven experience in medical laboratory work within a clinical or research setting, with familiarity in laboratory procedures across multiple disciplines. Proficiency in data management systems including Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) . Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture (phlebotomy), specimen collection, and processing with aseptic technique. Knowledge of CLIA regulations, laboratory quality control standards, and safety procedures in clinical environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex diagnostic tests accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and documenting findings clearly. Relevant certifications or licensure as required by local regulatory authorities; prior experience in clinical chemistry testing is preferred.
