Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in patient care by utilizing your expertise in the laboratory setting. This opportunity seeks a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to support essential diagnostic services. As a key member of a collaborative laboratory team, you will perform a vital role in specimen analysis and contribute to timely and accurate results for medical decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related scientific field Valid ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required Proven experience working as a Medical Technologist or MLT in a clinical laboratory environment Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices, safety protocols, and quality control measures Demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation and equipment Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail Effective communicator with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established policies and procedures Analyze body fluids, tissues, and other specimens, reporting accurate results to providers Maintain and calibrate lab instruments, ensuring quality and reliability of test results Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards throughout all processes Document findings, results, and quality control data in laboratory information systems Troubleshoot issues with tests, equipment, or procedures as needed Contribute to a collaborative atmosphere, supporting colleagues and participating in ongoing education
