Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your laboratory career as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician in a dynamic healthcare setting. Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required ASCP or equivalent certification preferred Demonstrated proficiency in all areas of clinical laboratory testing, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills Experience in a fast-paced clinical laboratory highly valued Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols, instrumentation, and quality control procedures Effective communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Perform and analyze laboratory tests according to established protocols, delivering accurate and timely results Monitor specimen integrity and confirm patient identification to maintain quality Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments Document, verify, and communicate test findings accurately to providers and team members Collaborate with clinical staff to support quality patient care Participate in quality assurance processes, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as needed Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory policies Benefits of this
