Clinical Laboratory Scientist II Are you a talented Clinical Laboratory Scientist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference across various healthcare settings? We are seeking a highly skilled Travel CLS II to join our dynamic team. Required Skills:
Proven expertise in transfusion services and blood banking. Proficiency in performing complex laboratory procedures including specimen processing, testing, and result reporting. Strong operation, calibration, and troubleshooting skills for laboratory instruments and equipment. Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and adherence to quality control protocols. Ability to adapt procedures to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations. Effective communication skills for documentation and critical value notification. Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience in microbiology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, or body fluids. Ability to cross-train in multiple laboratory sections. Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., CLIA standards).
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor s Degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or equivalent training meeting CLIA requirements. Certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from recognized agencies such as ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS. One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, including rotations through Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology, preferably within the last 5 years. New graduates must be Board Certified or eligible and complete certification within one year of hire (excluding Louisiana).
Other Requirements:
