Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled laboratory professional to provide expert clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role prioritizes accuracy, quality, and compassionate service in laboratory medicine. The ideal candidate will work closely with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure reliable testing, optimal patient care, and compliance with regulatory standards. Schedule 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Three 12-hour shifts per week Qualifications Valid certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) and/or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Experience performing laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, transfusion, and urinalysis Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Solid grasp of quality assurance and proficiency testing procedures Effective communication skills and capacity to work both independently and as part of a clinical team Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and patient safety Responsibilities Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests following established protocols Verify and report accurate test results in a timely manner Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment Adhere to quality control policies and handle proficiency test samples appropriately Collaborate with fellow laboratory professionals and other departments on specimen processing and analysis Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with clinical, safety, and confidentiality standards Benefits Competitive compensation for your expertise and commitment This position offers a valuable chance to expand your laboratory skills, make a significant impact within a reputable healthcare setting, and work with supportive professionals.
