Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic clinical laboratory environment where your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely patient diagnostics. As a valued member of the laboratory team, you'll collaborate with skilled professionals to perform essential laboratory tests and maintain the highest standards in quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a full range of laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and microbiology Validate and verify results with strict adherence to laboratory protocols Prepare, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment Adhere to all regulatory and safety procedures in specimen collection, analysis, and result reporting Troubleshoot analyzers and resolve technical problems promptly Maintain accurate records, quality control reports, and inventory of laboratory supplies Support overall laboratory workflow and assist with process improvements as needed
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Medical Lab Science program Previous clinical laboratory experience is highly valued Proficient in common laboratory techniques and technologies Familiarity with regulatory standards, quality assurance, and infection control procedures Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team
