Clinical Nurse Educator
  • NICU Schedule:
    Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM The Clinical Nurse Educator
  • NICU is a key member of the clinical education team and supports the ongoing development of nursing staff within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Responsibilities:
Provide education and training to NICU nursing staff. Lead new hire orientation and onboarding activities. Develop and update educational materials and learning resources. Mentor and support new graduate nurses and staff members. Round on the unit to provide bedside education and clinical support. Assist with the implementation of new policies, procedures, and equipment. Support go-live initiatives and department education projects. Collaborate with nurse leaders and educators across the health system to ensure consistent educational practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Graduate Degree, preferred. MSN, preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. NICU nursing experience required. RN professional certification in a relevant specialty required within six (6) months of hire. Previous education, precepting, or mentoring experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
