Job Description

Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration The Unit Educator is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes. Essential Responsibilities Working closely with the Director of Education and the Nurse Manager, the Unit Educator identifies learning needs, implements education programs and evaluates outcomes to ensure competency. He/she serves as a mentor/consultant to staff in the utilization of the nursing process. The Unit Educator is a role model to staff in practice/process improvements. Qualifications BSN degree preferred. Current NH license as a professional registered nurse required. Three to five years of experience in nursing and currently working full time at NRHN . Trained and recertified every two years in
CPR. CPR
instructor obtained within one year of employment.
