Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a real difference supporting students' growth and communication skills in a welcoming educational environment. We're seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work at a school setting near Manchester, NH. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to collaborate closely with educators and speech-language pathologists to help students reach their full potential. This assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. You'll work five hours per day, totaling 25 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day—a balanced, predictable workweek that allows for meaningful connections with students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLPA licensure or eligibility in the state of New Hampshire Experience providing therapeutic support to PreK-12 students in a school or pediatric setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to following SLP treatment plans and accurately documenting sessions Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and classroom environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing IEP goals under the direction of a supervising SLP Provide direct intervention services with individuals and small groups Collect and maintain data on student progress Support teachers and staff with communication strategies Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to student care
