As a Housing and Vocational Specialist, you will be part of an exceptional and inspiring team that changes lives every day. This is your chance to apply! Applicants must work well in a positive, strength focused, high energy and rapidly changing environment. Must be flexible and a team player. Good writing skills are necessary for this position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Discharge planning for transition age youth
- Learning/understanding housing resources within NYS for a transition age youth with increased independent living skills
- Coordinating school/GED, and vocational services for transition age youth
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors or Associates degree in human services preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Valid/Active NYS driver's license
- Successful completion of a background check including Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Families Statewide Central Register Database clearance
