Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Midwest Spine & Brain Institute, experts in spine and cranial surgery and research for more than 37 years, is seeking an experienced Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner, to join our expanding team as a hospital-based provider. No nights or holidays! Excellent benefits including PTO, health, dental, life, PFML, LTD, continuing education, 401k match and profit sharing. Call optional. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience as a certified physician assistant or certified nurse practitioner within an orthopedic spine or neurosurgical specialty. Proven success is essential in the detailed assessment and management of spine and cranial patients in the hospital setting, as well as working in a patient-centered environment with patients, surgeons, hospitalists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff. This provider will have a passion for helping others, excellent attention to detail, effective decision making and problem solving experience, superior communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. This position works collaboratively with the physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, hospitalists, nursing staff, and other clinical care team members to assess and oversee surgical spine and cranial patients in the hospital setting. Occasional work in the clinic. Experience with
EPIC EHR/EPM
necessary and NextGen is highly desirable. Excellent Pay and benefits package - $100,000-$165,000 Proud to be an EEO/AA Employer
