Position Overview:
Kings View is seeking a Regional Director II to provide clinical and operational leadership across assigned behavioral health programs within a designated region. This role ensures program performance, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals while partnering with executive leadership to support strategic growth and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations:
Provide leadership and oversight to Program Managers, Clinical Supervisors, and assigned staff Monitor productivity, documentation, financial performance, and program outcomes Support recruitment, hiring, retention, and staff development initiatives Lead coaching, performance management, and corrective action processes Address escalated operational, personnel, and clinical concerns
Clinical Quality & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal, DHCS, CARF, BBS, and other applicable regulations Provide and oversee clinical consultation and quality assurance activities Support audits, accreditation reviews, and licensing processes Ensure programs meet all contractual and certification requirements
Strategic Growth & Community Relations:
Partner with executive leadership on program development and expansion Maintain strong relationships with county partners, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring:
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field Active California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist) Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
Required Experience:
Minimum five (5) years experience in behavioral health, social services, or related field Minimum two (2) years leadership or supervisory experience Experience overseeing program operations and clinical quality
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of behavioral health systems and regulatory standards Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to oversee compliance, clinical quality, and program performance Strong stakeholder relationship management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience overseeing multi-site or regional behavioral health programs Experience with Medi-Cal, crisis services, or community-based care Experience supporting clinical supervision structures
