Job Description
Consultant-Accreditation and Regulatory Senior Job Description Overview Plans, implements, directs, and facilitates activities that support system wide efforts to be successfully accredited and continuously ready for patients. Consults and advises key stakeholders and leaders on accreditation/regulatory interpretations, educates and facilitates survey preparation activities, manages and audits onside surveys, and serves as a liaison between the organization and its accreditation and regulatory bodies. Analyzes and provides recommendations around performance and continuous quality improvement initiatives that drive organizational outcomes. Drives acceptance by stakeholders and serves as an accreditation matters expert for leaders and team members. Bachelor's Degree in nursing or healthcare related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Requires 7-10 years of experience in clinical operations and/or healthcare quality. Requires current state of Indiana license as a healthcare professional (e.g., Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist or Rehabilitation license.) Requires strong experience in leading complex projects or systematic performance improvement. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is required. We are an equal opportunity employer.
