Position Summary The Clinic Quality Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement initiatives, clinical guidelines development, standardization and staff education programs within the clinic. This role assists with compliance with regulatory standards, enhances patient safety, supports continuous quality improvement, and provides training to clinical and non-clinical staff to promote excellence in patient care. This role reports to the VP Quality and collaborates with Clinic Administration, IT, Education, Finance, Risk Management leaders. Key Responsibilities Quality Improvement & Compliance Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement projects aligned with clinic goals and regulatory requirements. Track, analyze, and report quality metrics (patient satisfaction, safety events, clinical outcomes). Support compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., The Compliance Team, CMS, OSHA, state regulations). Conduct audits and prepare reports for Quality Council/Credentials. Collaborates with Quality, IT, Education, Finance and Risk Management and other departments on improvement projects. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and collaborate with frontline teams to implement solutions. Education & Training Assess training needs of clinical and administrative staff. Design, deliver, and evaluate orientation and ongoing education programs (clinical competencies, safety, infection control, patient experience, documentation standards). Maintain staff education records and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements. Provide coaching, mentoring, and just-in-time education to staff as needed. Collaborate with department leaders to support staff development and professional growth. Collaboration & Leadership Act as a liaison between clinic staff, leadership, and quality committees. Support risk management and patient safety initiatives. Participate in quality council, safety huddles, and interdisciplinary meetings. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Health Services, business administration or related field preferred 2 years experience in a clinical setting, quality improvement or education preferred. Strong presentation, teaching and facilitation skills excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage and motivate staff
