Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Automation Analyst for a leading healthcare organization in Maryland. Reporting into the Director of the Office of Health Analytics and Informatics, this indovidual will evaluate and optimize the use of existing AI and automation tools across clinical, operational, and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on Core Measures (Quality Reporting) and Clinical Registry/Outcomes workflows. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in modernizing how clinical quality and outcomes data is collected, validated, and reported by streamlining core measure abstraction, enhancing registry reporting processes, and improving overall data pipeline efficiency. This individual will partner closely with clinical, quality, and informatics stakeholders to ensure CMS reporting requirements and registry submissions are met with consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness. Additionally, they will lead change management efforts, drive adoption of automation solutions, and identify opportunities to leverage AI to strengthen data integrity, improve real-time performance visibility, and reduce manual effort. This role will also be responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap to scale automation across quality reporting and outcomes tracking functions, ultimately enabling faster, more reliable reporting, improving core measure performance and compliance, enhancing clinical registry participation and benchmarking insights, and supporting the organization's mission to achieve excellence in quality, safety, and value-based care.
Day-to-Day:
  • Assess current workflows across clinical, operational, and financial functions
  • Evaluate existing AI/automation tools and identify gaps in adoption
  • Train teams on how to implement and use automation tools effectively
  • Analyze and improve clinical registries and core measures reporting (~30% target)
  • Build reports, findings, and strategic roadmaps
  • Drive initiatives to improve reporting efficiency
  • Enhance data validation processes and automation reliability

  • Experience as an Automation Analyst or similar role
  • Strong change management background
  • Machine learning / AI knowledge
  • Experience assessing current-state workflows and identifying automation opportunities
  • Ability to create reports, roadmaps, and implementation strategies
  • Experience with clinical registries and core measures reporting
  • Experience working with clinical, operational, and financial data
  • Strong focus on improving data validation and reporting efficiency
  • Healthcare system experience
  • Experience training teams on AI/automation tools
  • UMD (University of Maryland) degree preferred
