Job Description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Coordinator! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

The Quality department is clinically-led and evidence-based for supporting the safest, highest quality health care across the continuum of care for achieving zero harm.
A typical day includes:
This role combines the clinical acumen required for practice change and clinical care redesign with the leadership skills to influence clinical processes, systems, and outcomes. Key responsibilities include QAPI project identification and prioritization, process improvement methodology, project implementation, data analysis and reporting, change management, and regulatory compliance with performance improvement standards. Identifying opportunities and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance patient safety, quality, and efficiency across care settings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve measurable results aligned with organizational priorities and adhering to Six Sigma and Lean principles.

Job Requirements:
Education :
Bachelors of Science in
Nursing Experience:
formal performance improvement experience
Skills:
Lean/Six Sigma certifications completed or underway
License:
RN Physical:
The role may require sustained periods of standing, walking, and repetitive movements.
