This highly collaborative role is ideal for a clinically strong nursing professional with experience in quality improvement, healthcare analytics, and performance management who is passionate about improving patient outcomes, patient safety, and operational effectiveness through data-driven decision making and strategic partnership. In this role, you will partner closely with Cancer Network leaders, clinical teams, and quality stakeholders to assess inpatient quality performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic quality management plans aligned with institutional goals and evidence-based best practices. You will serve as a key resource and advisor for inpatient quality initiatives, helping guide network affiliates on performance improvement strategies, inpatient quality metrics, reporting standards, and operational excellence initiatives across a growing oncology network. The ideal candidate will have experience working with inpatient quality metrics, clinical performance improvement, patient safety initiatives, and healthcare data analytics within a hospital or healthcare system environment. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting large volumes of clinical and operational data, identifying trends and gaps, supporting analytics initiatives, and translating findings into actionable recommendations that improve quality outcomes and operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include facilitating meetings and strategic discussions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, assisting with quality reporting processes, monitoring compliance with institutional standards, and promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning throughout the Cancer Network. Experience with inpatient quality reporting, healthcare informatics, quality management, regulatory standards, and interdisciplinary collaboration is strongly preferred. At MD Anderson Cancer Center, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful quality and patient safety initiatives while working in a collaborative and mission-driven environment focused on Making Cancer History®. MD Anderson offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a lasting impact on patient care across one of the nation's leading oncology networks. This position is remote within Texas only with quarterly onsite meetings required, but more onsite presence may be required based on the business need.
