Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Program Manager is responsible for the provision of NICU services, has the authority and responsibility to monitor the provision of NICU patient care services from admission, stabilization, operative intervention(s) if applicable through discharge, and inclusive of the Quality Assurance & Process Improvement (QAPI) Program. Key Responsibilities Lead NICU quality improvement and QAPI initiatives Coordinate inpatient care for PASD patients Facilitate multidisciplinary maternal and PASD case review meetings Support policy development, staff education, and competency initiatives Analyze and present quality and performance data Lead root cause analyses and process improvement efforts Promote evidence-based NICU care and patient safety practices Education & Experience Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required Master's degree preferred Must be clinically active in maternal care at the facility where maternal services are provided Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Women's Health required Five years of clinical experience in Women's Health within University Health preferred Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality management, process improvement, and reporting standards required Licensure & Certification Current RN license in the State of Texas required Certification by a national accrediting body in Maternal Care/Women's Health required
