Job Description

The Certified Peer Support Worker provides recovery-focused services by using their lived experience to inspire hope, build trust, and support individuals navigating mental health and substance use recovery. CPSWs serve as mentors, advocates, and role models while helping members develop skills, access community resources, and work toward their personal recovery goals. Responsibilities Build supportive, recovery-focused relationships with members. Provide peer mentoring through shared lived experience. Assist members in identifying and achieving personal recovery goals. Encourage self-advocacy, resilience, and independence. Connect members with housing, employment, education, healthcare, transportation, and community resources. Facilitate peer support groups and wellness activities when appropriate. Support engagement with behavioral health treatment and recovery services. Promote healthy coping strategies and recovery planning. Complete accurate documentation and progress notes. Collaborate with clinical teams and community partners. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Current Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) certification. High school diploma or GED. Ability to pass required background checks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
