Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Health Worker to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between healthcare providers and the community, helping individuals access necessary health services and resources. This position works hand in hand with our Grants team and offers plenty of new experiences for people looking to learn more about the Public Health field . The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
NOTE:
This is a contractual 1099 position with a salary range beginning at $15/hr but can vary based on qualifications. This can be a part-time up to full-time position based on the candidate's schedule.
Responsibilities Health Education Teaching:
Facilitating educational sessions to improve community knowledge on health topics.
Content Creation:
Designing and producing materials (physical and digital) that simplify health topics for public understanding.
Health Outreach:
Engaging with community members to provide information, resources, and support related to health services.
Survey Collection:
Gathering data from community members to assess health needs and feedback.
Data Entry:
Inputting collected data into tracking systems or databases for analysis and reporting.
Technical Writing:
Understanding and interpretations policy, reports, and creating user-friendly health-related resources. Qualifications Experience or training in social work, nursing, or a related field is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and educate diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to collect data effectively and analyze community health trends. A commitment to improving community health outcomes through advocacy and support is necessary. Join us in making a difference in the lives of individuals within our community!
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
