Job Description

C&S has an immediate opening for a weekend Housing Monitor in Jefferson City. Salary/hours for
Housing Monitor:
$17/hr.; Saturdays & Sundays 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Perform related duties to maintain control and assist clients Assure safety of residents by actively observing activity in and around the building and grounds Consistently enforce shelter policies, procedures and guidelines Intervene when appropriate to resolve issues Complete pre-screening actions to determine intake eligibility of new individuals seeking admission and complete intake processing Add entries of incidents occurring during the shift to the daily shelter log record Read and sign the previous entries at the beginning of the shift Obtain and maintain statistics of attendance at all meetings and screenings Update and maintain current daily client list on computer Enter client data into the HMIS database when authorized and trained High school/GED Certificate with one year work experience Combination of training and work experience will be considered Must be a team player, a self-starter, and perform well with minimum supervision Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and independent judgment and decision-making skills, independent and creative thinking, ability to work with a team Must be supportive of the organization's mission and policies Ability to operate with a high level of confidentiality Good communication skills as well as the ability to work with diverse and challenging personalities are essential Basic computer skills (including Word and Excel) Must possess or obtain Adult and Child CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certification within three months of employment Complete HMIS training within three months of employment for select shifts Apply online and/or at 1731 Southridge Drive, Jefferson City. 111014 PandoLogic. ,
