based 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in California, delivering community health programs serving thousands of families across 15+ counties.
We are now expanding our team internationally and offering a fully remote summer internship opportunity to motivated public health students in Cairo, Egypt.

$500 USD (25,000EGP) upon successful completion of 120 hours

11:30 PM Cairo Time (EET, UTC+3)

1:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time, providing 5 hours of live daily collaboration with our California team.
Pathway:
High-performing interns will be considered for ongoing remote employment with MBMW upon completion This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a U.S. nonprofit operating at the intersection of community health, maternal health, and CalAIM — California's landmark Medicaid transformation initiative. Interns will work directly alongside our California-based team in real time, gaining internationally recognized experience in CHW (Community Health Worker) programming, maternal health case support, health education, and community outreach. Internship Requirements Strong English communication skills — written and verbal (required) Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Public Health, Community Health, Nursing, Health Sciences, Social Work, or a related field Available to work remotely 6:30-11:30 PM Cairo time, 25 hours per week Reliable internet connection and personal computer required Comfortable working across time zones with a U.S
based team
