Job Title:
Testing Coordinator for the Disability and Access Center at MTSU.Job Description:
Disability and Access Center- Testing Coordinator
- This position would be temporary-hourly and could work close to the 15-20 hours weekly maximum.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Microsoft word, Outlook, Teams, and other computer programs. Coordination with both students and instructors as it relates to taking exams with the DAC
- You will be responsible for the approval or denial of student's test requests. Exam monitoring via camera software. Answering phone calls/filling out paperwork/other general clerical and office related tasks Personally delivering exams upon completion across MTSU's campus Typical Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Transporting confidential/sealed tests from one location on campus to another
- This may require having a good sense of direction and being comfortable with using a golf cart around campus. At times the golf cart is not available, carrying the exams across campus.
- Scribing/ reading aloud for students in need.
- Proctoring students during exams via cameras in the testing center.
- Answering emails/ test requests/processing professor test information via outlook/computer.
- Logistically scheduling rooms (while taking students' needs/accommodations into consideration).
- Seating students upon their arrival for tests.
- Making sure students receive their accommodations accurately/thoroughly by documentation.
- Communicating with both students and professors to make sure we deliver accurate testing accommodations to students.
- Making sure students meet the requirements of submitting a test request.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. College degree preferred, but not required (Cannot be a currently enrolled student) Basic computer skills required- e.
Strong technology skills:
Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word is a priority . Solid customer service skills- patience, politeness, and kindness are required due to the nature of the population we serve.
Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary- hourly position
Pay:
$14.00 per hourSchedule:
Monday through Friday- We can be flexible, but we need someone willing to work at least 5-6 hours each shift.
