  • 5 pm, Monday
  • Friday and Saturdays on a rotation, 8 am
  • noon Summary Responsible for quality and integrity of the lab services.
Establishes, performs and evaluates all lab testing ordered by the physicians. Responsibilities Perform and report all laboratory test procedures. Record all necessary laboratory data and maintain accurate log sheets and schedules. Perform X-Rays, Hearing & Vision screening, Automated Complete Blood Count, Bilirubin, Glucose, Urinalysis with microscopic exam, Urinalysis with multistix test, Rapid Strep test, Throat Culture, Monospot test, Hemoccult test, Pregnancy test, Lead test and Flu test. Notify physicians of any abnormal test results and document. Maintain infection control standards and procedures. Perform proficiency test procedures, report results and maintain appropriate records. Record daily quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures. Maintain adequate lab supply inventory. Contact reference lab for specimen pickup and complete necessary paperwork. Maintain strict patient confidentiality in test results. Responsible for maintaining X-ray files and equipment. Demonstrate the ability to function within a team by accepting the responsibility for all functions performed to ensure that the team consistently meets its goals as identified by management. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Associate's degree in Biological Sciences Registry with a national Board of registry
  • A SCP or equivalent or registry eligible
