Position Title:
Staff Scientist (part time)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and process human cardiac tissue specimens. Perform bottom-up proteomic analysis of tissue and amyloid fibrils. Interpret proteomic data to identify disease-relevant protein targets. Conduct tissue clearing and histological staining. Acquire and reconstruct three-dimensional images of cardiac microanatomy. Synthesize findings, document methods, andmunicate results.
REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in an appropriate scientific discipline required. Minimum of 2 years postdoctoral experience.
ADDITIOANAL INFORMATION
This is a part time position 20 hours per week. ​
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position works in an office environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

La Jolla, California Compensation:
The expected hiring range for this position is $78,000 to $90,272 per year,mensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
