Job Description

Looking for a Cytologist Traveler to work Monday -Friday to read PAPs and non-GYN slides. Molecular testing on PAP vials and grossing included in the position.
Education:
Graduate from an Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) accredited school of cytotechnology or other organization approved by Health and Human Services or must meet one of the other CAP qualifications for the Cytotechnologist position. Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP registration) is required. Associate degree is required; bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least 2 years' experience as a Cytotechnologist Knowledgeable of all aspects of the cytotechnology department. Screens average of 60 - 80 slides per day (limits set by CAP and Pathologist). Diagnosis is consistently within one grade of Pathologist or Consultant diagnosis. Graduate from an Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) accredited school of cytotechnology or other organization approved by Health and Human Services or must meet one of the other CAP qualifications for the Cytotechnologist position. Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP registration) is required. Associate degree is required; bachelor's degree is preferred.

$3,198.00 - $3,298.00 per week
