  • Cytotechnologist Lead

  • Responsibilities:
  • + Performs advanced cytotechnology testing + Assists with cytology specimen preparation and fine needle aspirations.
+ Evaluates and classifies specimens, referring to a pathologist for final interpretation. + Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies, and coordinates scheduling to support workflow efficiency. + Demonstrates increased autonomy and contributes to operational coordination. + Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Experience
  • + 3 years of experience in Cytotechnology is preferred.
  • Education
  • + Bachelor's degree in a related field + _Bachelor's requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985._
  • Certification
  • Required:
  • + CT (Cytotechnologist) - State of Florida
  • Preferred:
  • + ASCP/SCT certification
