Job Description

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to perform GYN and Non-GYN cytology screening, support on-site FNA procedures, and ensure accurate specimen evaluation in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ThinPrep PAP and Non-GYN cytology screening Review ascitic fluid, esophageal, gastric, spinal, and bronchial specimens Prepare smears, staining, and preliminary evaluations Handle specimen labeling, identification, and quality control Support physician-collected FNA procedures
Requirements:
CT (ASCP) Certification Louisiana State License (LSBME - CLS Cytotechnologist) 2+ years of Cytotechnology experience Experience with ThinPrep, PAP staining, Non-GYN cytology, smears, cytospins, and FNA procedures
