Overview:
Sentara Health is hiring a Cytogenetic Scientist to work full-time day shift (6a-230p) in the Cytogenetics Lab. This position is on-site at the Sentara Cytogenetics Laboratory in Virginia Beach, VA. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates! As a Cytogenetic Scientist , duties are to perform laboratory tests; interprets results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools. Requires critical thinking skills. Demonstrates general knowledge of chromosome disorders. Education Bachelor's Degree (required) Certification/Licensure ASCP-CG (required) Experience Cytogenetics experience (preferred) keyword: laboratory services, Talroo-Allied Health, cytogenetics
