None Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cytotechnologist to join a leading laboratory team in Dallas, Texas. This position is ideal for a dedicated laboratory professional with strong experience in cytological evaluation and a commitment to diagnostic accuracy and patient care. The Cytotechnologist will play a vital role in the detection and interpretation of cellular abnormalities while working collaboratively with pathologists and laboratory staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, screen, and evaluate cytology specimens for abnormal cellular changes and disease processes. Accurately identify and document findings for review by pathologists when required. Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with laboratory standards. Maintain detailed and accurate records of specimen evaluations and test results. Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory personnel to support timely and accurate diagnoses. Follow all laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines. Ensure proper handling, processing, and storage of cytology specimens. Participate in ongoing quality improvement and proficiency activities as required.Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Cytotechnologist experience- Required . Must be registered as one of the following: Cytotechnologist (CT-ASCP) through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Cytotechnologist with International Accreditation (CT-IAC) Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field
- Required . Candidates with a non-science bachelor's degree must possess a Master's degree in a Science-related field
