In this role, you will support one dentist in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with clinical procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and organized clinical environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection prevention management procedures Assist dentists during various procedures such as oral surgery, and general dentistry Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Open Dental while maintaining strict clinical confidentiality policies in compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor vital signs and assist with patient management before, during, and after treatments Provide patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Support dental reception duties when needed by managing appointment scheduling and patient flow using patient management software Schedule

- North Madison 6:45a-3p Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with EMR systems such as Open Dental software experience with patient management software is preferred Strong understanding of dental terminology, equipment, and clinical procedures including X-ray techniques and infection control protocols Knowledge of general dentistry practices.
