Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with aseptic techniques. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Utilize a 3D scanner for capturing accurate dental impressions when necessary. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft. Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in treatment planning and execution. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Proficient in using dental software systems; experience with Eaglesoft is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
