In this role, you will support dentists in delivering top-quality treatments, ensure smooth clinic operations, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of infection control, patient comfort, and clinical efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Pay based on experience level. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed. Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining proper radiation safety measures. Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) using software, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology, medical documentation, and assisting with medical coding for insurance purposes. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting to maximize efficiency during procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Experience with Open Dental platforms is a plus. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards; experience with medical imaging is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members including dental receptionists and specialists in prosthodontics or endodontics.
